The ViewWise Online Client is a Java-based interface that allows a user to connect to a ViewWise server to locate and retrieve images stored within a ViewWise Room. The Online Client allows a user to search, retrieve, view, convert to text, open files stored in their Native file format, and output Documents stored within a ViewWise Room.
ViewWise provides several methods to output documents, pages, and images stored within its system. Users with appropriate security privileges can Print, Convert to PDF, Fax, E-mail, Export, and Send to other applications. Along with these options ViewWise offers OCR (Optical Character Recognition) capabilities for conversion of scanned images to text.
ViewWise allows archiving and searching of over 400 file formats - without the native authoring application.
