Computhink Releases ViewWise 7.1

Lombard, IL, August 8, 2012 - Today, Computhink announced the release of the latest version of its Document Management / Content Management Solution, ViewWise 7.1. This newest release augments ViewWise Notification Services to the assortment of robust features currently available in the product. ViewWise 7.1 also promises improvements to UI presentation and icons across all components.

"The latest release of ViewWise further expands our capabilities to assist organizations with automating their workflows and business processes. We have also added a new feature that works across the product allowing users to easily track progress and monitor content changes," said Vince Smolek, Computhink's Director of Product Management. ViewWise Notification Services improve business processes by enabling employees to be notified when particular actions occur, such as a change in a document, documents being added to a folder, and tasks being completed. ViewWise Notification Services watches documents, folders, workflow routes, and other auditable actions such as audit trail, recycled documents, redactions, and retention.

Another improvement to the business processes automation benefits of ViewWise 7.1 are task escalations. Task escalations automatically bring to attention any task that it is not completed within a set timeframe, ensuring that no deadlines are missed. Further enhancements to ViewWise 7.1 include the ability to access db lookup from the index agent, as well as the option to utilize multiple trigger fields when initiating an external db lookup.

The latest version of ViewWise continues to provide organizations with a means to reduce reliance on paper, helping them become more efficient, save on cost, and provide an important step towards achieving a more "green" organization.
