Computhink Releases Service Pack 1 (SP1) for ViewWise 6.2.
Lombard, IL, November 10, 2009 - Computhink has announced the release of its first Service Pack for the latest version of its Document Management / Content Management Solution, ViewWise 6.2. These enhancements further emphasize the company’s dedication to providing Enterprise-Level features priced for the Small to Medium sized Businesses (SMB). Among other features, this Service Pack includes the new feature, dblookup.

In the SMB Market of today, the Document Management demands require features normally reserved for the most expensive of solutions. ViewWise Version 6.2 improved on its well-received predecessor, and the improvements outlined below that are available in this Service Pack only further enhance the quality of the product.
- Dblookup allows ViewWise users to automatically retrieve index information from an external database. This reduces time spent typing, eliminates errors made while indexing, enables an efficient process of auto-indexing, and improves the productivity level of persons indexing documents into ViewWise.
- The Microsoft Outlook Hot Folder allows users to drag and drop E-mails to a dedicated folder in Outlook and automatically index them into ViewWise utilizing a specific document type. This is in addition to the existing Direct Save and Save to Inbox from Outlook features previously incorporated into ViewWise software.
- Node Properties allows customers to predefine and automatically populate index values based on a document type and storage location.
- Computhink has added a Graphical User Interface that makes it easier to define a route based on folder, index value, or manually.
ViewWise 6.2 continues to boast improved performance for PDF generation, improved Search performance while searching on specific Nodes, added security features to the Web top client, alterations to the ViewWise interface and more. Add to this the ability to work with Microsoft Server 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008, and access to these features via either a web or desktop clients and it becomes evident Computhink is continuing to enhance its offerings to the SMB Market with ViewWise 6.2.
