Computhink Product Announcement - ViewWise 5.6 Service Pack 2

Lombard, IL, November 1, 2005 – On behalf of the entire Computhink Product Group, we are very pleased to announce the availability of ViewWise 5.6 Service Pack 2 (SP2).

We have adopted Service Packs as a regular maintenance release model that focuses on simultaneous releases of interdependent Computhink products. Service Packs contain all critical bug fixes and quality enhancements and combine all bugs fixes issued since the last Service Pack or the last product FCS. Service Packs may also contain a small number of critical customer-driven feature enhancements.

All SP Modules have Release Notes and all product changes in SP (bug fixes and the occasional new feature) are identified in the Release Notes to ease adoption.

Certifications in SP2

All platform combinations certified for 5.6 SP1 carry forward to SP2. In addition, in keeping with our published vendor support policy, we may now support more recent point and service pack versions of our dependent platforms. Please check the release notes of each ViewWise Module product for applicable details.

Customer Feedback in SP2

ViewWise 5.6 SP2 primarily focuses on incorporating feedback from customers using the 5.6 product stack in areas of quality, scalability, and deployability.
