Computhink Staffs Up for the Channel
Chicago, IL, February 2, 2005 – Computhink, Inc. is expanding its Team to promote growth of its Certified Solutions Provider Partner Channel. Computhink made a huge commitment to change by eliminating direct sales efforts of ViewWise for Integrated Document Management (IDM) and launching a new Partner Program in January 2005. The Program focuses on a fresh approach to teaming with partners so that customers will benefit from a full range of professional services and integration solutions.
The move follows Computhink’s launch of the latest version of ViewWise 5.6 in 2004. It responded to customer requirements for compliancy, email archival, and simplified integration for image enabling. In addition, steady sales growth over the last two years proves the strong market acceptance of ViewWise for IDM by small to medium enterprise (SME) customers. Working with Channel Partners to integrate ViewWise into innovative new solution offerings will accelerate penetration into new vertical markets and extend product reach.
Today, Computhink is aggressively pursuing Value Added Resellers, Systems Integrators, and Solution Providers who are looking to expand their reach into new vertical applications for the SME customer. According to AMR Research large IT budgets for the SME and growth rates of 6% - 8% are expected in 2005. Doug Brennecke, V.P. of Sales in North America stated “We have taken a very careful look at what works and what is important in our market space. Our program has been designed around these key factors and has been quite successful to date.” Doug has staffed up his team to include channel specific expertise that will help Partners get a fast start to success with ViewWise.
New members of the Computhink family include Lisa Morgan who has joined Computhink in the newly created position of Director of Channel Programs. Lisa brings over 14 years of industry experience in channel management and solution sales most recently from Verity, Inc. Frank Wasti, joined Computhink as Regional Director of Business Development for the East Coast. Frank contributes many years of industry experience, having spent time working with FileNet, DocuWare, and PSIGEN. Bill Stewart is a newly named Regional Director of Business Development for the Midwest. Bill brings 14 combined years of channel and direct sales experience. Most recently Bill comes from Ricoh Business Systems and AnyDoc.
