Computhink Forges Technology and Marketing Partnership with Lizardtech
DjVu®, a groundbreaking content distribution technology, improves access to complex content in Computhink’s award winning ViewWise environment
Lombard, IL and Seattle, WA, February 3, 2003 – Computhink, a leading provider of integrated document management (IDM) solutions, has announced a technology and marketing-based partnership with Lizardtech Software to incorporate the company's content distribution technology into ViewWise 5.5.
Lizardtech is an Enterprise Content Management software and services company that focuses on making valuable documents, photographs and imagery “network ready” for rapid and efficient distribution. The DjVu® technology makes scanned and digital originals into network ready documents, significantly reducing access times, and storage costs by ten to one hundred fold, complementing the scanning and file conversion capabilities of ViewWise 5.5.

With the addition of DjVu, ViewWise 5.5 users can digitally capture, save, email, and export large, high-resolution documents, including CAD and engineering drawings, building plans, dealer manuals, annual reports, and full-color product catalogs in DjVu file format.
