Job Description:
Computhink Inc. (EEOC), a leading publisher of Document / Content Management Software Solutions seeks a qualified Business Development Manager to manage our Reseller Channels out of our corporate headquarters located in Lombard, IL. 3 to 5 years industry experience a must!

Objective:
Our objective is to recruit, train, and support a high volume sales channel for our enterprise level document / content management product ViewWise. The successful candidate for the position will have an established network in place for business relationships with these Resellers and end user prospects.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the DMS/ECM industry as well as an understanding of the e-Business arena and the professional services market. Candidates should understand mid to large-scale e-Business solutions and will be empowered to create and propose them in conjunction with the Partners - including complimentary product solutions outside of the Computhink family of products. Additionally, they will be able to design an end-to-end professional services solution to include DMS/ECM software, hardware, and services in order to train and assist Resellers.
  • Must have excellent communications skills, with the ability to present visionary solutions to Channel Partners as well as prospective Customer Executives. The ideal Business Development Manager will have a mix of technical and general business background. He/She must be able to accompany the Channel Partners into strategic opportunities, communicate with customers, and assist the Channel Partners in designing strategic solutions with real customer value and closing sales opportunities. He/She will assist in delivering and selling the benefits of the proposed solution to the customer when applicable. Compensation is partially based on the sales of the Reseller Channel Partners.
  • Be actively involved in directing the correct Channel Partner to the key opportunities in their region. He/She is to ensure that the sales and marketing personnel of the reseller understand the core competencies of our product(s), track the progress of the relationships, resolve issues related to the partnership, and ensure that sales personnel understand the compensation elements our the Computhink Partner Program.
  • Identify opportunities through interaction with the Computhink Reseller Partners, industry contacts, and marketing events. Ensure that all identified opportunities get appropriately passed to the Reseller Channel Partner and are followed up in a timely manner. Drive partners to increase volume of new sales.
  • Prepare a monthly forecast for the revenue to be generated through their activities. Their forecast will be rolled up into the company wide sales forecast.
  • Conduct education classes for Channel Partners and their sales teams about opportunities, solutions, updates, and general product training.
  • Be responsible for customer inquiries as applicable. Responsible for escalating all relevant support issues within their channel to a successful conclusion and acts as the primary liaison between Computhink resources and Partners.
Requirements:
  • Solid presentation, communication, people, writing, and follow up skills.
  • 5+ years sales or channel experience in the software or technology solutions industry. The position has a strong emphasis on sales/marketing.
  • BA/BS in Business or related field (may be flexible with relative experience).
  • Experience with MS Office applications in a Windows Environment will be necessary and some knowledge of Goldmine contact management software a plus.
  • Knowledge of workflow and Document / Image Management technology a plus.
  • This position requires 35-50% travel within the U.S. Target regions will be worked heavily in a planned approach and will incorporate on-going Partner support.

Job Description:
Computhink, Inc. (EEOC) is a Lombard, Illinois based software Development Company in the content management arena. Currently we are looking to add to our team an experienced Technical Support Engineer / Technical Consultant to:

  • Perform onsite installation, configuration, implementation and training to customers
    who have purchased our Enterprise Content Management application.
  • Provide support to customers, partners and resellers.
  • Assist in the technical portions of proposals and provide product demonstrations.
Skills Required:
  • Must be familiar with relational databases (MSSQL/Oracle) and networking concepts.
  • Experience in deploying and configuring Enterprise Applications.
  • Knowledge of: Windows 200x Server, XP, TCP/IP, Corporate Mail Servers, IIS and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Netware 6.5, eDirectory, GroupWise, and/or Linux a plus.
  • Knowledge of scanning technologies, Work Flow, Lifecycle, or Records Management applications a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills are essential.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work onsite to meet client demands.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience preferred or equivalent education
    (Bachelors Degree in MIS, IS, or CS)
  • Certifications (CDIA+, CNA, MCSE, Network+, etc.) a plus
  • Some Travel required
